Children and teens experience our custom Compassion Curriculum in schools, nonprofits, neighborhoods and at LOVEFEST by donating their time and resources to assemble kits, packages and donations filled with in-kind donations like school supplies, clothes, food, and art therapy materials, etc. for children who need us most. CHC’s curriculum was written by educators and therapist and has been time tested in our community since 2008. We keep our youth very curious about who they are, what makes them special, what the needs are in their community and how their very unique gift (aka: light) can change the world when they activity seek growth through philanthropy. CHC kids and teens are encouraged to build on their own passions and interests and are provided leadership opportunities that not only educate but empower them to be genuine change makers in Atlanta.
Our Junior Board of Directors are a group of Atlanta teens between the ages of 12-17 who are passionate about service. We engage members who are new to philanthropy with an inner drive to learn more, all the way to teens who have begun their own nonprofits and everything in between. CHC provides guidance, education, opportunities, and platforms to amplify their servants’ hearts.
